Lens & Cataract-YAG Capsulotomy

Posterior capsule opening after Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy.

Indication:
- Posterior capsule opacification following extracapsular cataract surgery
- Particularly when it interferes the patient's daily activities, gives symptoms of decreased visual acuity and significant glare
Complication:
- Intraocular pressure elevation
- Damage to the IOL
- IOL dislocation
- Inflammatory reaction
- Cystoid macular edema
- Retinal detachment
